The two smartphones Iphone 5, officially
presented in San Francisco on Wednesday morning, and Samsung Galaxy S3
seem to be the most powerful ones on the market these days. The Iphone
boasts a 4-inch "retina display" screen and will be the thinnest Apple
smartphone at just 7.6mm thick while Samsung Galaxy S3 has an enormous
4.8-inch HD Super AMOLED screen, which displays vivid color and deep
blacks at a maximum resolution of 720 x 1280. In terms of operating
system, the iPhone 5 runs IOS 6, and Samsung Galaxy S3 runs the latest Android version “Ice Cream Sandwich”. Although the iPhone 5
will be LTE-powered, they may still lag behind compared to Samsung
phones, which have long been LTE-capable. In addition, the iphone 5’s
Siri will support for launching applications. Frankly, it's hard to say
which device's interface functions more seamlessly or features the best
apps - for the time being.
It looks like the iPhone 5 is actually following the lead of the Galaxy S3 in some features such as width and height.
Apple ups the screen size from 3.5-inch to 4-inch display that permits a fifth row of app icons on the home screen.
On paper, the two devices are exactly the same, offering an 8-megapixel primary camera and HD video at 1080p.
The iPhone 5 is made from glass and aluminium and will be the thinnest Apple smartphone.
The iPhone 5 will
ship Sept. 21 in the U.S., UK, Canada, France, Germany, Australia,
Japan, Singapore and Hong Kong. The launch will occur in additional
countries on the 28th and in 100 countries by the end of the year.
